  3. NOTES:  This is a single NAM unit, quad NAM units are covered in file NEC07.
  4.         The ESN prefix is 135 decimal, 87 hex.

  8. 1.  This phone officially requires an NEC programing adaptor part
  9.     number 41-2012, if you have one attach it between the data cable and the
  10.     transceiver and power up the phone.
  11.  
  12.     If you do not have a programing adaptor one can be made from a 15 pin
  13.     D plug and a 15 pin D socket.  Wire it straight through and jumper pins
  14.     2 and 11.  Connect this between the tranceiver and data cable and power
  15.     up the phone.

  17. 2.  Having powered up the phone using one of the above methods press
  18.     RCL # 0 1 to enter test mode.
  19.  
  20. 5.  Press RCL # 7 1 to enter programing mode.
  21.  
  22. 6.  The # key stores and increments each step.
  23.  
  24. 7.  Press CLR briefly to correct an entry.
  25.  
  26. 8.  At any time press and hold CLR to exit programing mode then press RCL
  27.     # 0 2 to exit test mode.
